What a fun world where anything is possible.

Suits is probably one of the most captivating legal series there has ever been. From the very first episode of the first season, you know that something is definitely different here, and it's not just another law show.

The first thing fans notice is how gorgeous the cast is. The one and only Harvey Specter becomes an instant crush, and the fact that he has this very complicated personality and kind of a bad boy vibe helps a lot.

Then we meet the brainiac Mike Ross and the most amazing secretary you could ever imagine, Donna. And the journey into the world of TV law begins.

But as it turns out, even though Suits is pretty true-to-life in many ways, it still couldn't help but add a little something extra to the story to spice things up.

1. Lawyers Only

One significant thing that would never have happened in real life is someone like Mike Ross getting hired at such a prestigious law firm. As you remember, Pearson Hardman only hired Harvard graduates, and Mike was really far from being one.

Ross was a college dropout who somehow seemed to have excellent legal knowledge. His intellectual level actually became the reason why Harvey hired him, ignoring every possible rule and law there is.

2. Questionable Practices

Watching Harvey and Mike beat up the bad guys in court was probably the most fun thing about the show. But to make those scenes really exciting, the show's writers decided to add a little more to the way the legal team got what they wanted.

Walking away from all the ethical standards of real law firms was something they never hesitated doing. And sure, that added some intrigue to the show, but real lawyers are bound by legal and professional ethics rules that make such behavior unacceptable.

3. Personal Relationships

And certainly that’s not something that would happen in a real law firm.

Lawyers are expected to manage their personal relationships wisely and to ensure that their personal lives do not interfere with their professional responsibilities.
