But now the fans have decided to pick the best supporting characters who captured the audience's heart in a short appearance on screen.

3. Dr. Owens

This character was introduced in the second season of Stranger Things. Owens is in charge of the Hawkins National Laboratory, but unlike his predecessor Dr. Brenner, he is in awe of Eleven and Will, who is a victim of the Mind Flayer.

Although Owens disappeared from the narrative in the third season, his arrival in chapter 4 delighted fans. The doctor has been trying to protect the children and stand up to the hard-nosed Colonel Jack Sullivan, who wants to get rid of 011 because he thinks she's responsible for everything that's going on in Hawkins.

2. Erica Sinclair

This little tyrant is Lucas' sassy younger sister. Although she had a small role, Erica really shines in the third season of Stranger Things. Her witty one-liners and fearless attitude make her a fan favorite. Sinclair's intelligence and resourcefulness play a crucial role in helping the main characters in their mission to save Hawkins.

Despite Erica's constant unflattering comments about the gang, she still managed to gain the audience's love. Her teaming up with Dustin, Robin and Steve and the mall operation were some of the most iconic moments of the entire series.

Many viewers were frustrated that little Sinclair was given almost no screen time in season 4, even though she managed to stop the Communists and learn the truth about what was going on in her small town in the previous chapter.

1. Eddie Munson

Eddie Munson is a new addition to the Stranger Things universe. He is a rebellious teenager who gets caught up in the supernatural events of Hawkins. Despite his troubled past, Eddie proves to be a compassionate and loyal friend.

His character arc explores themes of redemption and growth as he learns to face his demons and find his place in the group.

With his incredible charisma and charm, fans immediately fell in love with his personality. Although the series has introduced and then killed off secondary characters since season 2, Eddie's death was the most heartbreaking. Many viewers are still hoping that Munson will turn up alive and appear in the finale.
