Although Stephen King is already the most filmed author of all time, some of his works are, in the opinion of his fans, worthy of adaptation, too.

The King of Terror has written many works, and 34 of them have been brought to the screen. But there's never too much of Stephen King, so fans are sharing what they'd most like to see on the big screen.

Duma Key

Fans of the author even started a poll on Reddit about which books they would like to see adapted, and Duma Key won by a wide margin.

The book is about a once-successful businessman who was disabled in an accident but found the talent of an amazing artist.

After moving to the small southern island of Duma Key, he tries to start over by painting. But the longer he lives on Duma Key, the more terrifying his paintings become.

The Eyes of The Dragon

The Eyes of The Dragon is also what many want to see on the big screen. In a certain fairy-tale kingdom the strange but fair King Roland is ruling.

His wife has recently died, leaving him with two glorious sons, one of whom is destined to take their father's throne. The entire plot of the novel revolves around the struggle for this very throne.

The most interesting part begins after the mysterious death of the king, which is blamed on his eldest son.

In fact, there have been several attempts to adapt this novel into a movie. At first, the movie was supposed to be released in the early 2000s, but the company's film rights expired.

Then, in the wake of the popularity of Game of Thrones, the Syfy channel became interested in the fantasy adaptation, but it never came to filming. Since then, fans have been waiting for the rights to fall into safe hands.

Insomnia

The novel is about an old man, Ralph, who cannot sleep after the death of his wife. The less sleep he gets, the more strange visions he begins to see.

The book's plot takes place in the town of Derry, yes, the same town where Pennywise has been killing children for years.

Fans think a movie version of Insomnia would be a great expansion of the Derry universe, and maybe Pennywise would be in it too?
