And no, we don’t feel bad saying that.

When the news arrived that one of the many NCIS spinoffs, NCIS: Hawai'i, is being canceled, the internet exploded with negative comments towards the network that made the decision.

The heartbroken fans couldn’t believe the one show they liked as much as the original series was killed by CBS.

They all agree that NCIS: Sydney should have been the one to be canceled instead.

“They should have canceled Sydney. We watched maybe two episodes and just couldn't get into it. But that's typical of CBS; they get you hooked on a show and then cancel it. Corporate j*rks don't give a cr*p about the fans, just the bottom line is all that matters to them,” Redditor AdventurousDream3778 said.

The fans named several reasons to support their point.

1. The Setting

One of the things that bothered fans was the visuals of the series. NCIS: Hawai'i was set in many picturesque locations, and overall it was a pleasant watch. They say the Sydney one is way less interesting and offers almost nothing to a picky viewer.

2. The Cast

There are a lot of comments about the worst casting decisions ever made in the history of the franchise. Many fans of NCIS said that it was the actors who made the show impossible to watch.

“I like the idea of NCIS Sydney but the cast is AWFUL! I hate Mackey’s “I’m so angry and mean grrrr” energy and Blue’s unnecessary awkwardness. It’s tough to watch,” Reditor jewgineer said.

3. The Writing

Another reason why the Sydney spinoff should have been canceled instead of Hawai’i is the bad writing. If you compare the stories told in both series, you see how they differ from each other, and the Australian version just seems so dull and boring you get tired from watching all the illogical twists. Also, the viewers are saying that it’s poorly paced and they couldn’t just get into it.
