The movie industry is a tough business and there're often conflicts on the set.

Even if the movie wins standing ovations and awards from film academies, many actors refuse to repeat the success and star in the sequel or openly show their dislike for the project.

Here are three times when exactly that happened.

Kate Winslet and The Titanic

Turns out that Kate Winslet unexpectedly hates her performance in Titanic.

Despite the movie's astronomical success , from 11 out of 14 Oscar nominations to an all-time Hollywood box office gross of more than $1.5 billion, the actress is not fond of her performance, and admits she can't watch herself on screen.

In this case, it's not about conflicts on set or dissatisfaction with the quality of the movie. Kate shared in her interview for The Telegraph that she absolutely dislikes her acting in the movie, and her American accent "is awful".

Viola Davis and The Help

The actress was nominated for an Oscar for her role as the maid Aibileen Clark in The Help. It was unexpected for the audience to hear that the actress actually regrets the role.

In an interview for the New York Times, Viola admitted that the plot about a white girl writing a book about the life of a black servant ultimately upset her because it mainly focused on white heroes.

"I want to know what it feels like to work for white people and to bring up children in 1963, I want to hear how you really feel about it. I never heard that in the course of the movie," Viola said.

Malcolm McDowell and A Clockwork Orange

Even the actors of such classics as A Clockwork Orange can be left unsatisfied with the result. After the release of the movie (in countries where it was allowed to be shown), Malcolm woke up famous.

Although the movie was a success, the actor remembers the shooting with a heavy heart, even saying that he "сouldn't really stomach watching it again."

In one scene, Malcolm's character Alex had to be forced to open his eyes to see the video sequence.

McDowell's co-stars went a little overboard on the set and damaged the actor's cornea in the first take. Worst of all, Malcolm had to redo the scene with a sore eye, only for it to take more than 10 years to heal afterwards.
