3 Characters You Most Certainly Won't See In Virgin River S5
Hopefully you had enough of them in previous seasons.
Netflix 's unexpected smash hit, Virgin River, is keeping its fans in suspense as it prepares for its fifth season.
The last one was filled with dramatic events, and the finale left many storylines on nerve-wracking cliffhangers.
But as it turns out, several characters from the show may not be returning in new episodes, all for different reasons, but united by the fact that they overstayed their welcome in Virgin River.
They are Charmaine Roberts, Paige Lassiter and Denny Cutler. Let's see why it's best for them not to return to the show.
Charmaine is annoying
The fact that she really gets on everyone's nerves is not an exaggeration, it's the truth. Everyone is sick and tired of her nonstop nonsense.
She has caused enough trouble for Jack, especially since he made it clear from the beginning that he did not want to have a serious relationship with her.
She seemed to come to her senses after she married Todd. But it was only for a moment.
Before season 4 ended, she managed to drop one more dramatic bomb. She admitted that Jack was not the biological father of her twins.
This means that he actually owes her nothing. And it would be great to get rid of Charmaine, fans think.
Although Jack and Mel certainly deserve an apology before that.
Paige's inconsistent storyline
She has been on the show since the first season as a baker whose only goal in life was to be with her son in a safe place. But as it turned out, she wasn't as innocent as she wanted to appear.
And John "Preacher" Middleton was the first to find out about the secrets she was so determined to keep. Like her real name and the fact that she was on the run from her son's father.
Preacher helps her cover up after she accidentally kills her ex, Wes.
Paige constantly drags Preacher into her nonsense, and frankly, it's hard to care about Paige, even though her storyline is intriguing.
She's brought nothing but problems to Preacher, so it wouldn't be the worst thing if Paige never returns to Virgin River.
Denny and his choices
Denny is the least annoying character of the trio here. In fact, his story is quite compelling. He came to Virgin River claiming to be Doc Mullins' grandson.
And even though no one believed him at first and thought he was just out to steal money from Doc, the grandson story actually checked out.
But it turns out that he has Huntington's disease. And because of that, he even refused to start a relationship with Lizzie, the girl he definitely had chemistry with. So the future of the character is really up to the writers.
Whether they make him learn how to live a normal life with the diagnosis, start dating the girl he cares about and get to know Doc and Hope, or just disappear into nowhere in season 5.
Last season's finale sets up both possibilities for the future.
