Well, if you are good at something, why bother to discover something new?

Hollywood gives us a wide variety of actors to choose from to make our favorite. There are many reasons to decide who will be the one to steal your heart. Looks, talent, the movie genre the actor plays in, and the list goes on.

It's also quite interesting to discover the transformation that actors go through from one movie to another, playing completely different types of characters with unique personalities.

However, there are some A-list actors who seem to play the same type of character in every movie they appear in.

Fans have noticed that one of the most obvious examples of this is Adam Sandler. He is usually seen in comedies that are either total failures or the most successful in the genre.

There are also heart-stealing rom-coms with Drew Barrymore or action movies with Jennifer Aniston. Still, his character is usually this naive and simple guy who resolves the conflict of the movie by learning a heartwarming lesson.

Another guy who plays almost the same character in every movie is the great Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

He usually plays an exaggerated alpha male guy who leads his team to victory and beats the movie's bad guys. Some Reddit users even pointed out that it seems like "The Rock is The Rock in every single movie he is in."

But not only male actors have this kind of career. One of the best examples of an actor being strongly attached to a character type is Helena Bonham Carter.

Despite the fact that almost all of her roles are iconic, they all shrill to be kind of the same.

It's hard to find a movie with Carter that doesn't make her seem a little untrustworthy and a bit evil, and most of her work is in the genre of dark fantasy. Some Reddit users gave an excellent description of all of her roles.

"Scraggly haired weird witchy, evil queen, scraggly hair, can you trust her? Is she good or bad? Type roles," Reddit user Bert3434 said.

Now, this doesn't mean that these actors are somehow worse than others. In some cases, it's even good to know what to expect from a movie starring your favorite actor who rarely changes roles.
