Did he become a cop or not?

Law & Order: SVU started in 1999 and continues to this day. Each episode is a new crime, wild and unimaginable for the mind of an ordinary person. Some episodes are simply shocking, and some episodes make you think and take a serious look around.

Almost every episode of SVU is filled with despair and tragedy, but even in such a project there was room for bright stories, and one of them was the episode titled Wannabe.

What is Wannabe About?

In the 23rd episode of the 11th season, the police team is looking for a rapist who commits crimes on Sundays. Elliot and Olivia go on a search on the fourth Sunday to prevent another crime. However, the criminal is not caught by experienced cops, but by a rookie named Fletcher.

It turns out that Fletcher made a series of gross mistakes in catching the criminal and tampering with the evidence. All of this helps Cragen and Marlowe figure out that the rookie is not really a cop. The young man bought himself a uniform and started pretending to be a law enforcement officer – all because his main dream in life is to become a cop.

Marlowe gives Fletcher a break so he can fulfill his dream in the future, but the guy breaks the rules again, but helps catch the criminal's accomplice.

SVU Should Revisit Fletcher and Reveal What He's Doing Now, Fans Say

While this episode once again shows us the terrible things people around us are capable of, it also tells a touching story of a dream.

Now, 14 years later, fans want to see Fletcher back on screen and find out how his life turned out.

“That would be indeed awesome if he could come back as a cop or even one of Liv’s detectives,” Reddit user LadyRunespoor pointed out.

SVU has revisited minor characters before, but Fletcher's story seems like one of the most worth returning to – fulfilling this guy's dream would add some positive color to the show that it often lacks.
