12 New K-Dramas to Watch on Netflix in November 2023
They are all binge-worthy!
Autumn is the season of cosy, romantic and magical K-dramas, and this month is no exception with so many new and returning shows.
Daily Dose of Sunshine
The 2023 series is directed by Lee Jae-kyoo and stars Park Bo-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Dong-yoon and Lee Jung-eun. It is an adaptation of the Kakao webtoon by Lee Ra-ha, a former nurse who drew from her own experiences to create the webtoon. The story revolves around the character Jung Da-eun, a talented nurse in the Department of Psychiatry at Myungshin University Hospital, and her relationships with the patients she cares for.
Moon in the Day
Moon in the Day is a South Korean Netflix Original romantic fantasy drama directed by Pyo Min Soo. It is based on a webtoon and stars Pyo Ye Jin and Kim Young Dae. The story revolves around Han Joon Oh, one of South Korea's top celebrities, whose body has been possessed by the ancient spirit of a nobleman named Do Ha, who wants to take revenge on his wife Han Ri Ta for killing him.
My Demon
This brand new K-drama series follows the journey of Do Do Hee, a wealthy heiress who teams up with a demon named Jung Koo Won to help him regain his supernatural abilities. As they work side by side, a romantic relationship blossoms. Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang and Lee Sang Yi will play the lead roles in the series. The drama will premiere on 24 November.

In this intense K-drama, detective Won-ho is on a mission to uncover the truth about Asia's biggest drug syndicate and its mysterious leader, against whom he has a personal vendetta. Won-ho puts his life on the line to catch the notorious 'Mr Lee' and finds himself caught in a complicated web involving two of the cartel's key players, Brian and Rak. As the tension rises, a new and dangerous player called Big Knife enters the fray, adding to an already thrilling story.
Castaway Diva
This K-drama tells the story of a woman who is rescued from a deserted island after disappearing for 15 years. Mok Ha, a girl with aspirations of becoming a singer, goes missing during her middle school years and finds herself stranded on a deserted island. She miraculously survives on her own for 15 years. But being rescued from her isolated existence is only the beginning; adapting to the complexities of modern society is a whole new challenge for Mok Ha.
Strong Girl Nam-soon
A young woman with extraordinary strength embarks on a journey to South Korea in search of her birth family. Separated from her parents in Mongolia, Gang Nam-soon, played by Lee Yoo-mi, reunites with them by travelling from Korea back to her home country. In the Gangnam district, she finds her grandmother, Gil Joong-gan and they form a close bond. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they become entangled in a drug case being investigated by Detective Gang Hee-sik.
Destined With You
Destined With You is an enchanting South Korean television series released in 2023. The show follows the magical love story of Lee Hong-jo (played by Jo Bo-ah) and Jang Shin-yu (played by Rowoon). The plot revolves around a forbidden book that has been sealed for 300 years, only to end up in Hong-jo's hands. Unfortunately, Shin-yu falls victim to a curse caused by the book.
Doona!
Doona! revolves around the life of Lee Doona, a key member of the popular K-pop girl group Dream Sweet. Despite her successful career, Doona shocks everyone by leaving the industry and moving into a shared house in a college town. It is here that she meets and starts to get to know Lee Wonjun, a 20-year-old freshman who is unaware of her fame.
Mask Girl
Mask Girl is the story of a young woman in Seoul who has abandoned her lifelong ambition to become a celebrity because she feels insecure about her appearance. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when she becomes fed up with the way men treat her differently based on her contrasting identities. By day, she is an unappreciated office worker, while at night she becomes a camgirl, wearing a mask and idolised by a legion of fans.
Sweet Home
This fall, Netflix introduces Sweet Home, a darkly exhilarating K-drama. Meet Hyun, a high school student who has tragically lost his entire family in an accident. Forced to leave his home, he enters a new world where monsters threaten to annihilate humanity. Battling against time, Hyun must race against time to save what remains of the human race.
A Time Called You
In A Time Called You, a woman is confronted with the shocking appearance of a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to her recently deceased boyfriend. As she plunges into the mystery of how she accidentally time travelled to the 90s, she must confront a new reality of both her present existence and her past. Directed by Kim Jin-won and written by Choi Hyo-bee, this Korean romance series moves seamlessly between the present and the 1998 setting.
Hometown
In 1999, Choi Hyung-In, played by Yoo Jae-Myung, is a detective haunted by the death of his wife in a terrorist attack ten years earlier. He carries a heavy burden of guilt and is unable to move on from her tragic loss. While investigating a murder in a small town, he begins to suspect a connection between the case and the terrorists responsible for his wife's death.
