No matter how popular NBC's Law & Order franchise is, it doesn't seem to be as exciting to many viewers anymore. Does this mean that the law has become a tired subject? Not really, sometimes all you need to reignite interest is a fresh approach. Korean TV shows, for example, can make you look at your favorite genre from a different angle.

The Devil Judge (2021)

You could call the world where trials are televised as a kind of reality show dystopian, but we've all seen a few big cases in this format, so The Devil Judge isn't too far from the truth. The show focuses on three judges, all fighting for peace in their own way, and is very heavy on courtroom proceedings.

Law School (2021)

Unfortunately, studying the law and facing how it works in reality are two different things. The students of the law school are faced with an impossible task when they have to investigate the death of one of their professors in order to prove the innocence of another.
