7. Tales from the Loop (2020)

Scientists are always trying to push technology further and learn more about the universe, but common people don’t know much about it. We may never know whether there is an afterlife — so why not create our own? In the future, humans’ consciousness can be uploaded into a digital heaven of their choosing. A prematurely dead programmer gets comfy in his perfect afterlife when his living customer service rep starts suspecting that he’s cute… And was murdered.

4. Orphan Black (2013–2017)

3. Eureka (2006–2012)

The biggest inventions often happen at places that most people don’t even know exist.
