That's what happens when you rummage through the filmography of a current star and stumble upon some of their earlier works: you see the name of a show that you haven't heard before and, filled with curiosity, decide to check that out.
We did the same and compiled a list of 13 shows that have modern A-list stars in major roles.
We all have to start somewhere, and actors are no exception: surely their careers are filled with works of questionable quality, especially in the early stages when they are just building names for themselves.
Most of the current movie stars have started on TV, and though now, with the development of the streaming services and the skyrocketing budgets of their originals, starring in a series and not a movie doesn't feel like a downgrade, back then TV shows were largely considered something of a lower-tier thing in actors' careers compared to anything with a theatrical release.
But hey, we can watch them being young! And witnessing the people that we're used to seeing on a big screen and prance on a red carpet in designer clothes in a sitcom or a romcom with a grainy film is quite humbling.
