Fallout Season 1 left us with far more questions than answers, but these are bugging us the most.

10. How Did Moldaver Live for So Long?

One of the most unexpected and still unexplained twists of Fallout Season 1 was Lee Moldaver being Cooper Howard’s contemporary. Despite not being a ghoul or a cryopodded Vault-Tec employee, Moldaver somehow survived in the Wasteland for well over two centuries and didn’t age a day. What was her immortality secret?

9. Will Maximus Be a Bro or a Gent?

Maximus’s entire character arc in Season 1 was him wanting to be a celebrated hero without risking his power armor-clad bottom. Then Lucy came around and started changing him for the better… But in the finale, Max did become a hero in the eyes of the Brotherhood and was promoted to a Knight. Will he chase Lucy or notoriety?

But what happened to their daughter Janey? When the bombs dropped, she was with Cooper, but we saw him interrogate Hank MacLean about her. How did he lose her?

7. How Was Cooper’s Plot Discovered?

It’s clear that Cooper Howard’s spying on his wife and against Vault-Tec was uncovered at one point, what’s with him losing the contract and Barb both. But how did it happen, and did Vault-Tec retaliate in a meaningful way? Did Barb keep her soon former husband’s secret or rat him out to the almighty corporation she served?

1. What Were the Two Major Disasters?

Fallout Season 1 dropped two post-war bombs — both literally and figuratively. Shady Sands, the NCR capital, and New Vegas, Mr. House’s domain, were both destroyed years ago. The questions we’re the most curious about are as follows: what was the “Fall of Shady Sands” which came even before Hank nuked the city — and what exactly happened to New Vegas, leading to its complete obliteration?
