Minato Kiyomizu and his school team have just won the Japanese water polo championship. Minato falls into a coma, and when he regains consciousness after 203 days, it turns out that he remembers absolutely nothing, not only about the victory, but also about water polo in general.

After a rehabilitation course, the main character tries to lead an ordinary life, but his past glory catches up with him. So Kiyomizu finds himself in the sports club of his new school, where he tries to restart his career as a water polo player.

Onoda Sakamichi is a quiet boy who spends almost all of his free time with manga, anime and video games. His little hobby is going to the school's manga club, but when it closes, Onoda doesn't know what to do. One day, during his next trip to buy a robot figurine, he is noticed by members of the school's bicycle club.

Seeing potential in the guy, they invite Onoda to try his hand at bicycle racing. Oddly enough, he agrees, suddenly realizing his love for the sport.

7. Yuri on Ice

The young figure skater Yuri Katsuki suffered a devastating defeat in the Grand Prix finals, which left all of Japan disappointed. The young man returns to a small town and is completely done with the sport, but a Russian guy Victor Nikiforov, a world figure skating star, who comes to train him, revives Yuri's love for the sport.

The ultimate goal for Yuri and Victor is the same: they will settle for nothing less than winning the Grand Prix.

8. Captain Tsubasa

Eleven-year-old Tsubasa Oozora has been passionate about football since childhood. When a boy was hit by a bus while playing near the street, it was the ball that softened the blow.

When Tsubasa and his mother move to a new town, he meets many kids who are just as passionate about football as he is. But it is a chance meeting with Roberto Hongo, a famous Brazilian player who sees great potential in the boy. This is the beginning of Tsubasa's long and successful career as a football player.
