10 Actors You Didn't Realize Were in Harry Potter AND Game of Thrones
It's always fun when two of your beloved franchises have something in common, and in this case, the common part between Game of Thrones and Harry Potter is the cast.
Some of the actors ended up working in both of these fantasy worlds, though they played completely different characters.
Of course, these actors were cast as recurring side characters in both of these franchises, though some of them had their moments to shine.
One of the most fun things is the very far-fetched similarity between Argus Filch and Walder Frey, portrayed by David Bradley.
Both of them had housekeeping duties, sort of, but while Professor Filch was this comedic and slightly scary character, especially if you look at him under the hem of the invisibility cloak as you wander the dimly lit corridors of Hogwarts, Walder Frey was quite literally the housekeeper, as he ruled his House Frey, and played a key role in one of the most epic moments of the show.
Other than some of the cast, these two franchises don't have much in common. They portray different types of fantasy, one going for an urban setting and the other embracing an original world, meticulously built from scratch.
