'Ambulance' Is Currently The Highest Rated Movie Michael Bay Has Directed
'Ambulance' tells the story of two brothers, Will (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal) Sharp, who decided to rob a bank to pay for Will's wife medical bills. The film hits theaters on April 8.
At the moment the film's rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 74%, and no other Michael Bay's movie can boast of such an achievement. Even the legendary action 'The Rock' has only 68%, which irritates lots of fans.
Some Facebook users think that such a high rating was reached thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal. The actor's fans believe that Gyllenhaal is "one of the greatest actors of our generation and it "would be a shame if he wastes his prime on working such films". "Michael Bay owes Jake Gyllenhall a thank you", says a comment.
Quite a lot of Twitter users think that there is no need to actually watch 'Ambulance' because everything was shown in the film's trailer:
…and the trailer itself was not that good, mildly speaking.
Of course there are a lot of haters:
…and those who think that Bay is just a good businessman:
Meanwhile movie critics think that 'Ambulance'' is "noisy, messy and frequently absurd — yet still somehow Bay's most gleefully entertaining effort in at least a decade".
