Their acting career may not be that long, but the list of roles is impressive.

Until 2020, few people knew who Emma Corrin was. The young British actor appeared on screen in unremarkable roles until they received an offer they couldn't refuse: to play Princess Diana in The Crown.

Before becoming a global star, Emma Corrin went through the initiation rite of almost every aspiring actor — they played episodic roles in TV series. The actor appeared in a small role in Grantchester, and in Pennyworth they portrayed the mistress of Alfred Pennyworth, Batman 's butler.

Another important step at the beginning of Corrin's career was her participation in the project Misbehavior, a story about a group of feminists who try to disrupt a beauty pageant.

Emma Corrin's Biggest TV Series

Initially, Emma Corrin was not considered for the role of Diana in The Crown. They were called to the set only to read the Princess of Wales' lines during an audition of several actresses for the role of Camilla.

The actor's agent warned them that it was not an audition, but Emma prepared. Apparently, their efforts paid off — Corrin was offered the opportunity to play Diana.

Corrin's biggest TV work after The Crown was the series from The OA creators, Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij — A Murder at the End of the World. Emma played Darby, an amateur sleuth and author of a documentary detective novel, who, at the invitation of tech billionaire Andy Ronson, finds herself in a hotel lost in the snow and ice of Iceland. There, on the very first night, her friend Bill is killed under strange circumstances.

The actor's biggest success on the big screen was one of the most anticipated movies of the year — Deadpool & Wolverine. Emma played the main antagonist — Cassandra Nova, Professor Xavier's twin, who embodies his complete opposite.

Corrin will soon be appearing in another highly anticipated movie — Robert Eggers' Nosferatu, which is scheduled for release on December 25, 2024. The news that The Witch director Robert Eggers would be remaking Friedrich Murnau's Nosferatu surfaced back in 2015.

The role of Nosferatu himself went to Bill Skarsgård, who played Pennywise in the horror film It, and Emma Corrin will play Anna Harding, the wife of merchant ship owner Friedrich Harding.
