Unlike many other famous franchises, nobody got labeled a one-role actor here.

It’s been almost ten years since The Hunger Games ’ last installment hit the cinemas, but nobody from the main cast has been left in the shadows ever since.

Though Suzanne Collins’ widely famous franchise is expanding its universe and has recently got a brand new ramification titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the original movies are still a frequent binge-watch choice for many fans craving some nostalgia from the past years.

Back in the day, The Hunger Games was a huge success garnering more than $3 billion in total, and it definitely came as a big moment of fame for the franchise’s leading actors whose careers later on skyrocketed for good.

Years after the movie trilogy came to its end, all of them are still doing pretty good.

Jennifer Lawrence ( Katniss Everdeen)

Jennifer Lawrence is definitely the one who has nothing to complain about. She owes her now brilliant career to The Hunger Games that years ago cemented her status as one of the most promising actresses in Hollywood.

While still starring in the franchise, Lawrence got a big dramatical lead role in a romcom drama Silver Linings Playbook which later brought her the first Academy Award for Best Actress.

Having The Hunger Games all wrapped up back in 2015, the actress continued her Hollywood-conquering path with the leading role in the biographical comedy drama Joy. The latter got her the fourth Academy Award nomination under her belt, making her the youngest actress to ever receive four Oscar nominations.

Lawrence’s most recent credits include the 2021 satire black comedy Don’t Look Up starring Leonardo DiCaprio, the 2022 drama Causeway and last year’s comedy No Hard Feelings.

Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark)

Unlike most of his The Hunger Games co-stars, Hutcherson had his first fame moment way before the dystopian franchise came his way.

Back in 2004 and 2005, the young actor got to voice characters for two big animated projects, Robert Zebecks’ The Polar Express and Hayao Miyazaki ’s Howl’s Moving Castle. Hutcherson then definitely shattered a couple of hearts with his role in the tear-jerking fantasy drama Bridge to Terabithia before turning to his breakout role in The Hunger Games.

The actor’s career keeps thriving to this day, especially after the franchise’s prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, revived everyone’s love for Hutcherson in a viral whistle edit meme. But jokes aside, he still delivers impressive performances on screen, and his latest movies, Five Nights at Freddy’s and The Beekeeper, are more than enough reminders.

Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne)

A little brother of Thor’s actor Chris Hemsworth, Liam also got to be a big win in Hollywood after starring as Katniss’ best friend Gale in The Hunger Games.

Prior to being cast for the epic franchise, Hemsworth made only one notable appearance on screen with a 2010 teen romantic drama The Last Song where he starred alongside his ex-wife Miley Syrus. Once cast for the leading role in the trilogy, Hemsworth’s filmography started getting vaster, though most of his flicks still didn’t make much of a fuss upon their release.

The actor’s most notable credits for now are the 2019 romcom Isn’t It Romantic, starring Rebel Wilson, and Netflix ’s fantasy drama show The Witcher where Hemsworth will now be portraying the main character instead of Henry Cavill.
