Pretty Little Liars became an undeniable hit, but were the actresses able to continue their careers successfully?

For many years, viewers followed the adventures of Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Aria as they were threatened by the anonymous blackmailer A. The show became a hit thanks to its many intriguing mysteries and the charismatic four main characters.

However, after the end of the series, they do not appear on the screen so often. Here's what the Pretty Little Liars actresses are doing now.

Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale had a hard time finding herself after Pretty Little Liars ended. She appeared in a few movies, got episodic roles in TV series and was even nominated for a Golden Raspberry Anti-Award.

But in 2020 she returned to the screens with the lead role in the series Katy Keene from the Archie Comics universe. She went on to star in the TV series Ragdoll, the melodrama The Hating Game and the comedy Puppy Love.

Shay Mitchell

After the series ended, Shay Mitchell started a YouTube channel, and was also active on her Instagram, where she now has 36 million followers.

After Pretty Little Liars, Shay starred in several major projects – the series Miracle Workers with Daniel Radcliffe, the series You and the horror film The Possession of Hannah Grace.

Ashley Benson

Ashley Benson is known to many as the ex-girlfriend of Cara Delevingne, whom she dated for almost 2 years.

After the end of the series, the actress' career began to decline – she mainly starred in low-budget movies such as 18 & Over, Private Property and Angry Neighbors.

Troian Bellisario

After the series ended, Troian became the producer and screenwriter of the movie Feed, which told about dealing with anorexia.

She also starred in such projects as the drama series Clara, the crime series Stumptown and the drama Where'd You Go, Bernadette.

Sasha Pieterse

After the conclusion of Pretty Little Liars, Sasha's career did not end. In 2019, the actress returned to her role as Alison in the spin-off series Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, where she played a teacher.

She also played one of the main roles in the movie The Honor List and the thriller Coin Heist.
