Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa Address Feud Rumors, Claim It's 'All Love & Aloha' Between Them
The crisis was averted, it seems, as both Fast & Furious co-stars are claiming that everything's great between them.
After the questionable release of the latest Fast & Furious installment, Fast X, we've witnessed quite a bit of internal drama among the cast of the franchise.
It got to the point where we were not sure whether Vin Diesel would have any big-name colleagues left with him as the situation looked rather tense.
On top of the years-long feud with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson that started all the way back in 2016, Vin Diesel, the creator of the Fast & Furious franchise, borderline jumped his newest co-star Jason Momoa.
While Fast X received mostly negative reviews (and still made the bank as usual with F&F), Momoa was a whole different story.
In the entirety of the movie, Jason Momoa's performance was largely praised as the only silver lining, and his brand-new Fast X villain, Dante Reyes, was immediately crowned as the best villain the F&F franchise has ever had.
Many even claimed that it was only thanks to Momoa that Fast X didn't completely flop at the box office.
Such an attitude didn't sit right with Vin Diesel, the Godfather of the Fast & Furious franchise, and he felt incredibly frustrated.
Insiders revealed that in private conversations, Diesel was accusing Jason Momoa of "scene-stealing" and" over-acting," as well as generally blaming the actor for the terrible reviews of Fast X.
In such a small world, it was obvious that Momoa himself would learn about that incident really soon, which he did. The situation looked tense, and it seemed like a new Diesel vs. Johnson feud was cooking, but...
Right after the news of the F&F's Godfather making up with The Rock, ending their years-long rivalry, Vin Diesel also made an update on the rumors about him and the Dante Reyes actor falling apart, too.
Diesel addressed it on his Instagram where he posted a picture of himself spending time with Jason Momoa. Both of them look happy in the photo.
In his post, Vin Diesel thanked his co-star for creating a "totally unique and special" and "scene-stealing character that the world won't forget" and ended the speech with "All love," signalling that everything's good and chill between him and Momoa.
Jason himself hopped into the comment section and confirmed that the situation is "All aloha."
The actor also thanked his co-star for inviting him to the Fast & Furios franchise in the first place. "Mahalo for taking a chance with me, boss man," wrote Momoa.
So thankfully, it seems like the crisis was averted, and the Fast Family is standing even stronger than before after Vin Diesel having The Rock back and featuring an amazing addition in Jason Momoa.
The future's looking way better than it was just a few days ago when everyone thought the three of them were apart.
All love and aloha, and remember: family above everything.
