It’s not that easy to find all versions of yourself that ever existed.

Summary:

  • Everything Everywhere All at Once is a Best Picture winner.
  • There’s no way the movie can fit into one genre, because it’s a mix of everything.
  • The fans of the movie claim they have never seen anything like that.

When a particular movie is a winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture, you know it should be something extraordinary. Well, in the case with Everything Everywhere All at Once, it’s even more than this.

The 2022 movie was directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, but the two of them started the production 12 years before the release.

Everything Everywhere All At Once is about a middle-aged Chinese-American immigrant woman who is tired of her ordinary life as a laundromat owner and unexpectedly finds herself in the middle of a multiverse adventure.

The main character faces danger and is forced to travel through many universes to find the different versions of herself in order to prevent a powerful being from destroying the multiverse.

The lead role of Evelyn Quan Wang is played by Michelle Yeoh, and fans were in awe of her brilliant performance. Along with her, there were some more amazing actors like Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Talking about genre, it's actually hard to fit into one, because the movie has elements of absurd comedy, drama, science fiction, animation, fantasy and more. It's also a martial arts movie. And the mixture of all that made it unique and unlike anything you have ever seen.

The fans admit that the feelings after watching the movie lasted for a long time.

“I’ve never had a movie leave me with such a wide range of emotions , from laughter, to almost tears, to an existential awakening. Everything everywhere all at once is in my opinion the perfect example of true cinema, an intellectual feast and emotional rollercoaster,” Redditor braysonm said.

With a budget of $14.3-25 million, Everything Everywhere All at Once grossed a total of $143.4 million worldwide.

And now this masterpiece will be released on Netflix on February 23. If you missed the Oscars hit in theaters, your time is coming!
