Welcome back to Hogwarts!

A new project based on the Harry Potter universe has been launched – a cooking competition show from Food Network. A total of six episodes are planned: the first episode was released on Max on November 14th, which means that the final of the competition will be shown just before the Christmas holidays.

We tell you what we love about Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking and why all Harry Potter fans should definitely watch it.

The Hosts Are James and Oliver Phelps

The hosts of the culinary battle are James and Oliver Phelps, who played the Weasley brothers in the Harry Potter movies. This is not the first time they have appeared in TV projects: the Phelpses had a travel show together called Fantastic Friends, and the brothers regularly appear on sports shows.

As part of the baking competition, James and Oliver are happy to greet everyone who comes by and occasionally ask questions about the progress of the cooking.

The Stylization & the Cakes Themselves Look Fantastic

The creators did not skimp on the stylization and careful recreation of the Hogwarts atmosphere: the large-scale project was made with love and genuine attention to detail. Simply put, Wizards of Baking looks incredibly cozy and quite impressive.

All the cakes look absolutely stunning. And they really surprise with magical elements: the baked goods contain moving elements, hidden lighting or even codes.

We don't want to give away all the secrets and deprive the readers of the opportunity to be surprised while watching, but we will mention only some of the works: monumental cakes with the symbols of the faculties, the Mirror of Erised made of backlit cakes, and even a creamy Whomping Willow with crawling spiders made of chocolate and caramel.

In the first episode, chocolate fillings were the most popular, but in addition to cocoa, there were also other interesting flavors – such as marshmallow cream or lemon curd. The desserts also combine a traditional approach to baking with molecular cuisine.

Wizards of Baking Is a Perfect Choice for Every Harry Potter Fan

Christmas is already almost here, which means it's Harry Potter marathon season. Wizards of Baking is a great way to satisfy your hunger for wonder and spend a cozy Sunday under a blanket in the company of crazy-trick baked goods.

The show is a real treat for all millennials who love sweets and artifacts from the world of the boy who lived.
