It's all fun and games until it gets out of hand.

It's hard to find a Hollywood celebrity who hasn't struggled with a bad habit or two.

Although in recent years healthy living has replaced substance abuse scandals in popularity, and more celebrities are making better choices for both their well-being and their reputations, there are still plenty of stories from the past out there.

Fortunately, not all bad habits need to be so destructive. Some of them, no matter how harmless, can affect not only the lives of those around you but also the work process. And that is when someone needs to step in.

This is what happened to Jennifer Aniston during the filming of the iconic '90s sitcom Friends.

Her bad habit was getting a little too annoying for the cast and crew because it was interfering with the schedule they had to follow.

The thing is, the actress who played Rachel Green was often late to the set, so filming simply couldn't start when it was supposed to.

While it certainly wasn't Aniston's intention to make the process of filming more difficult than it needed to be, not many people could just watch it happen without saying anything.

Her co-star and on-screen love interest, David Schwimmer, who portrayed Ross Geller, had to be the one to start the discussion. But everyone else was just as on board with the intervention as he was.

Even Jennifer's close friend at the time, Lisa Kudrow, had to admit that the star had "bad luck getting to work," which was the nicest way of saying that everyone had noticed that she was always late.

Considering how many seasons the show had and how successful it became, the scheduling and transportation problems were easy to overcome once they were addressed.

Fortunately, there are no signs of production problems on the Friends episodes that do exist. If you are feeling nostalgic and want to revisit the show, you can stream it on Netflix or MAX.
