Gabimaru clings to his last chance. The authorities grant freedom to a criminal who brings the elixir of life from an island called Shinsenkyo, from which no one has ever returned.

Gabimaru has nine rivals, and the strongest will win: merciless killers are allowed to eliminate each other. The situation is controlled by executioners, one for each candidate, and Gabimaru is followed by the samurai girl Sagiri.

One of the things that makes Demon Slayer such a compelling anime is that, at its core, the plot is actually quite simple. It is the story of a brother who wants to turn his sister back into a human and also kill the demon who destroyed his family.
