The 10 Netflix Shows of 2024 Everyone Will Be Talking About
The hype mill works in mysterious ways, but all that unpredictability makes it even more fun to do a little mental exercise and try to determine which of the shows on Netflix will become the most popular in 2024.
Some shows would gain an audience because they already had some fans, others just seem interesting.
Next year, we're gonna look at that list and either smirk condescending because none of our predictions came true or ask for a raise if the opposite happens.
Netflix is a powerhouse, one that releases more original content than any other streaming service, and some of the shows that have been around for more than one season already have a loyal audience that would flock to the screens the second the new season drops.
That's the case for the final season of Emily in Paris and Sweet Tooth, or the new seasons of Bridgerton, Arcane, The Umbrella Academy, and Squid Game.
But some of the new IPs already look pretty promising: Netflix doesn't usually cancel their book adaptations right after the first season, and 3 Body Problem book has a huge following which may bring a lot of viewers to the screens. The reviews seem nice.
