Terrifier 4 Is Confirmed: What It Will Be About & Release Date
Art is coming back.
Starting October 11, slasher fans can see Terrifier 3 in theaters. The horror movie has, like the first two parts, an open ending with a hint of a sequel. Franchise creator Damien Leone has already started developing Terrifier 4, so the clown-maniac Art will return.
What Will Terrifier 4 Be About?
In Terrifier 3, five years after the events of the second movie, Art again went hunting for the inhabitants of Miles. This time his ally was Victoria Heyes from the first two installments. She was possessed by the demon that was in the creepy girl from Terrifier 2.
Together they wanted to make Sienna Shaw suffer, because only she – as the Chosen One – is able to send them back to hell. Victoria also wanted to weaken Sienna's mind and take over her body to become a more powerful demon.
In the second part, Art killed Sienna's mother. In the third, he got to her brother Jonathan, as well as Sienna's aunt and uncle. Of Sienna's entire family, only her cousin Gabbie survived; Art did not have time to get rid of her. Sienna cut off Victoria's head and wounded Art, who managed to escape.
But in the fourth part, he will not leave Sienna alone – she is the only one who can kill him. And Sienna might be the perfect vessel for the demon that was once inside Victoria. So in Terrifier 4, Art will attack Sienna again, and he will probably be even more cunning and ruthless.
Where Did Gabbie Go?
Victoria's poisonous blood caused a hellish portal to form in Gabbie's family home, and the girl fell into it. Perhaps it leads to the same hellish dimension that Sienna saw in her nightmares. Surely these were visions of real places and not just the girl's imagination. After all, she is the chosen warrior, capable of killing demons.
In Terrifier 4, Sienna must find out how her father predicted Art's attack and that his daughter would be the Chosen One. The truth about her father will help Sienna enter the hell dimension, save Gabbie, and find a way to destroy Art. Sienna will also likely investigate Art's past – it was hinted in Terrifier 3 that the demon was a maniac who killed children.
Terrifier 4 Release Date
Terrifier 4 does not have a release date yet. Two years have passed between the release of the second and third installments. Since the fourth was approved before the release of the third, it can also be released in two years – in 2026.
