Fans are excited to see the director's final masterpiece.

Fans have been cultivating rumors about Quentin Tarantino 's next film for some time now, after its working title, The Movie Critic, was revealed.

They immediately began looking for any information about it and came to the conclusion that it would most likely revolve around the career of Pauline Kael.

But it appears they were wrong, because it does not seem to be exactly what they suspected. Recently, during a special event, the legendary director finally shed some light on what he has in store for his latest work.

It will be set in 1977 and the story is based on an undisclosed real-life person who was "never really famous" and wrote movie reviews for a porn magazine.

The name of the magazine was also not revealed, but the fictional version of it will be called The Popstar Pages.

Tarantino drew inspiration from his own early life when he read this magazine and found the movie review section quite fascinating.

He also described the character's writing style as extremely cynical and a cross between early Howard Stern and Travis Bickle.

With these exciting new details, fans are even more eager to see it. However, they are quite sad because it seems to be his last movie and compare his mentality to that of Martin Scorsese, another legendary director who expressed his regret about not having enough time to tell all the stories he wants to tell.

Others say that it might not be the end after all, because if Tarantino has enough passion, there is nothing to stop him from coming out of "retirement" and after, say, five years of doing nothing, he might just come back triumphant, full of new ideas.

Besides, the director mentioned that he doesn't mind doing other media, like TV series, so who knows, maybe this is the beginning of Tarantino's new career as a showrunner.

Fans also say that the movie will undoubtedly create a wave of controversy, as judging by the description, the character will seem highly problematic to many viewers.

The director himself said that the character in question was very insensitive and used racial slurs (for which Tarantino has been criticized in the past), so it is obvious that it will cause quite a stir among modern audiences.

It may be some time before we see if their predictions come true or not. The release date for the movie has not been announced yet, as it is still in a very early stages of production.
