One of the show's lead actors expressed his controversial feelings about the ending.

Joe Keery, who portrayed the role of Steve Harrington on the hit Netflix show Stranger Things, appeared at German Comic Con and shared his thoughts on the show's ending and some conflicting feelings about it.

It's understandable considering this show's influence on people both watching it and taking part in the production of the show.

Stranger Things has gained a wide popularity since its release in 2016 for a well-crafted and compelling story with a great mix of elements from different genres, such as horror, sci-fi, and coming-of-age drama.

The show is set in the 1980s, which evokes nostalgia for that era among many viewers, while also introducing younger viewers to a world that's different from their own.

Another reason for its success is the characters. Viewers absolutely fell in love with the Hawkins group that we've witnessed fighting supernatural creatures from another world for four seasons.

While it is still unknown when to expect the fifth and final season of the show, Keery has described the ending as "bittersweet."

This also refers to his ambiguous feelings about the filming: it's both exciting but at the same time sad as it is the last time the cast gathers together to portray our beloved characters.

"I think everybody's excited to start working again, but it'll be like the first time of a lot of last things, as well. It'll be very bittersweet," Keery said.

Season 4 finale has left the viewers with the realization that the danger hasn't passed and something has to be done. And something will be done in the upcoming season, this time once and for all.

Fans can't wait to see the characters that we all have attached to during the amazing 4-seasons story again.

It was reported before that the filming of season 5 is only about to begin this May/June, so we need to have patience. The final season is definitely worth waiting for.

Stranger Things haven't disappointed its fans so far, and the finale of the series might break some hearts, but it surely won't fall short.
