San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Hall H Schedule
All the biggest announcements happen on that vast Hall H stage – everyone knows that.
This year's SDCC may seem a bit disappointing: Warner Bros. is unlikely to please us with announcements of new large-scale projects, and Marvel, according to the industry insiders, decided to keep the biggest announcements until the September D23 Expo. However, there's plenty of other stuff happening, so we strongly advise to keep an eye on everything that's planned for Hall H this weekend – after all, you never know what surprises major studios prepared for the SDCC crowd until the very end.
All the biggest names and projects this year will be on that Hall H stage all weekend. We're not talking about Marvel and Warner Bros. only – there's also a very impressive list of guests and panelists everyone's surely going to be talking about well into next week. Long-awaited The Lord of the Rings prequel series, as well as the Game of Thrones prequel, will take the stage alongside Marvel and DC projects, with Walking Dead and Star Trek to follow.
SDCC 2022 Recap: Here's Everything That Happened On Friday, July 22
Hall H panels kick off tonight, on Thursday, with a handful of film presentations. First of all we got Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, newest addition to Paramount Pictures big-budget fantasy lineup with Chris Pine leading the star-studded cast. Next on the list is highly-anticipated Teen Wolf the Movie: cast and crew will shed some light on upcoming Paramount+ project that will be serving as a direct follow-up to a hugely popular TV series. To wrap things up, Star Trek legend William Shatner will join Kevin Smith to discuss his brilliant career and announce a new project.
Tomorrow the day on Hall H stage kicks off with The Rings of Power panel, a chance to meet (and grill about the upcoming series) a truly impressive, in sheer numbers at least, cast of the show. After that it's all things Walking Dead, with the audience getting a chance to meet the cast of the original series and get a glimpse at the long-awaited series finale.
Saturday, July 23, is when things are going to get really interesting. First off, it's Warner Bros. with the panel on Black Adam and Shazam! sequel (and rumored surprise appearance from Henry Cavill who will talk about the Superman 's future in DCEU, apparently). Next on schedule are a handful of TV-related panels including Game of Thrones prequel, Star Trek and HBO's The Sandman. The main event is, understandably, Marvel's panel with Kevin Feige taking the Hall H stage alongside some the MCU stars (sadly not confirmed as of this moment). After that Kevin Smith will once again commandeer Hall H, this time to screen the opening 5 minutes of Lionsgate's Clerks III.
Things will get a whole lot quieter on Sunday, July 24, but there's still a couple of panels you wouldn't want to miss – namely, Q&A with the star-studded cast of Mayans M.C. and What We Do in the Shadows exclusive screening. Marvel stars Rosario Dawson and Simu Liu will wrap SDCC festivities up with a special Funko!POP panel and giveaway.
