Riverdale Shocks Fans With Long Awaited New Romance In Yet Another Musical Episode
Riverdale appears to be stronger than ever before. Too bad it is to end soon.
No matter how many critics and Internet trolls tried to trash Riverdale 's last season by calling its sudden jump nonsense, the show managed to turn it into the fanservice extravaganza every fandom wants.
The only regret Riverdale fans have now is that the showrunners didn't do the same thing sooner.
Does the plot make sense? Well, barely. But the better question is, when did Riverdale ever make sense? Teen drama based on comic books has never been a great example of realism, and given the choice between a 17-year-old stripping in a room full of grown men and time travel to the '50s, we'll take the leap any day.

Does the storyline suddenly allow the writers to explore everything they want, but never had a chance to explore? It does!
The beauty of the alternate reality is that nothing and everything is real at the same time, so anyone can come back from the dead or find themselves in an unexpected relationship.
So from the very first episode of season 7, all the shippers were suddenly in for a treat. With so many romances starting (and ending) on screen, there are only a few character combinations left to explore.
And Riverdale isn't wasting any time, as the latest episodes introduced... #Beronica?
Best of all, everything that happens in the episode is set to the catchy tunes of the original Riverdale soundtracks, written and performed specifically for the show.
If you've been frustrated by the never-ending love triangle between Betty, Veronica and their beloved Archie, you don't have to be anymore. The girls finally decided to end their rivalry and leave Archie alone in favor of starting a relationship with each other. The decision was sealed with a steamy kiss.
Though it was almost as unexpected as getting another all original musical episode on Riverdale, the overwhelmingly positive response from viewers shows that Riverdale finally started heading in the right direction last season.
It’s not too late to join the watch party! Tune in to The CW each Wednesday to not miss another Riverdale episode.
