People often pick movies and TV series to watch based on the actors who star in them. However, this approach may sometimes fail you — especially with these three actors, whose participation in a project doesn't mean it's worth seeing at all.
3. Michelle Rodriguez
Best known for her role as Letty Ortiz in the Fast and Furious franchise, Michelle Rodriguez plays the 'tough girl' character in most of her projects. Her typecast roles seemed intriguing at first but have become predictable and boring for viewers over the years.
In addition to Fast and Furious, Rodriguez starred in Crisis (2021) and She Dies Tomorrow (2020), which did not have much success with audiences and critics. Many fans tend to skip a movie immediately if they see the actress' name credited.
2. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson
Yes, The Rock may be the highest paid actor in Hollywood, but that doesn't mean his movies are worth watching. The former wrestling champ has been portraying tough guys throughout his film career, turning into a demigod in Hercules (2014), saving his daughter from a disaster in San Andreas (2015), and stomping through the jungle in Jumanji (2017).
Although Johnson's blockbusters normally do well at the box office, they hardly ever make a lasting, powerful impression on viewers. So if you wish to see a well written and acted story to make you think, be sure to avoid movies starring The Rock.
1. Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot is first of all a model, rather than an actress, and this is why so many people can't stand her acting. She is completely bland as Wonder Woman, unwatchable in Fast and Furious, and as part of the comedic trio in 2021's Red Notice, Gadot seems totally out of place.
According to fans, the actress fails to convey nuances of her characters' personalities. While Gadot is still waiting for her big movie role, it is unlikely that the Wonder Woman star will ever work with top Hollywood directors or earn at least one Oscar nomination for her projects.
