It's not always the best sign when the show feels too complete.

911 has been on TV for a good 5 seasons and is about to wrap up its 6th season.

With so many stories covered and so many characters getting their relationships in order, it almost feels like everything is too good to be true.

The audience knows that every show is driven by some kind of drama, but the current state of the show begs the question: what's going to happen next?

Of course, many fans are happy to see their favorite characters content with their on-screen lives.

While there is room for the writers to move around and introduce some new relationships (#Buddie shippers have been waiting for years at this point), everything seems to be mostly set.

There is one change that could potentially breathe some fresh air into the show and give it a different spin.

Fans believe that 911 would benefit from introducing new characters to the show. Since it is so character-centric, and all of the regulars are getting wiped out at this point in the plot, the only logical solution would be to bring in the new ones.

Not only will it allow the writers to explore more challenges and storylines, but new characters could also change the dynamics in the group, creating the conflict the show lacks today.

The new characters' stories don't have to be huge, but they do have to be more memorable than the majority of last season's storylines.

It's understandable why the writers chose to focus more on the relationships between the characters rather than the calls these characters are working on, but now they've almost set themselves up for failure by having to come up with more challenges for the couples without actually ruining them.

As of today, 911 has neither been renewed for season 7 nor canceled, so there is still a chance that fans will have to come to terms with the end of the show as it is.

However, everyone prefers to keep their hopes up and believe that one way or another, the showrunners can keep their favorite show as good as it is for at least a few more seasons.
