What’s it About?

Kang Ji-won (the luminous Park Min-young) is having a bad day. Not only is she struggling with a deadbeat husband and his demanding mother, she’s also been diagnosed with cancer at a very early age. Now, she comes home to find her husband in bed with her best friend, discussing her life insurance payout.

Oh, and she gets murdered.

But for Ji-won, there is life after death – and it looks a little familiar. When she wakes up, Ji-won’s back in 2013. She hasn’t yet gotten married, and her diagnosis is ten years in the future. She’s determined to avoid all of the heartache coming her way, but there’s a catch: Ji-won soon discovers that she can’t avoid bad things happening altogether. All she can do is ensure they happen to other people.

Thus, a perfect revenge plot is born. Ji-won will make sure that she doesn’t marry her jerk of a husband – instead, she’ll set him up with his future affair partner. In the meantime, Ji-won will focus on her career and her blossoming friendship with her handsome boss Yoo Ji-Hyeok (Na In-Woo), who has a secret of his own.

In the case of Marry My Husband, this is a time-travel fantasy, but also a relationship drama, a comedy, and a sweet romance. In her second chance at life Ji-won has the opportunity to see through her best friend’s manipulations, rewrite her story, and finally meet her perfect match.

Release Schedule & Cast

New episodes of Marry My Husband drop every Monday and Tuesday, with the finale scheduled for release on February 20. There will be 16 episodes altogether.

K-drama fans might recognize some famous faces in the cast. Park Min-young is a K-drama superstar who shot to fame in 2010’s Sungkyunkwan Scandal. She has since become a prolific actress, starring in dramas such as Queen for Seven Days (2017), What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018), and Her Private Life (2019).

Park’s love interest in Marry My Husband is played by rising star Na In-woo, most famous for his work in Mr. Queen (2020–2021) , River Where the Moon Rises (2021), and the 2023 crime drama Longing for You.
