New Scarlet Witch Update From Elizabeth Olsen Causes Waves Among Wanda Fans

According to the plot of the WandaVision series, Agatha pretended to be an ordinary woman named Agnes.

The sorceress wanted to ingratiate herself with Wanda in order to gain her powers. In the end, Wanda exposed Agatha and bewitched her – making her think she was the very Agnes the witch had invented.

As expected, in the Agatha: Coven of Chaos, witches from the new coven will arrive in Westview and disenchant Agatha.

In her recent interview with Deadline, Elizabeth Olsen was asked if Scarlet Witch could appear in the new show, to which she replied, "I think I'll be back."

While many fans are excited to see Wanda Maximoff back on the screens, they acknowledge that it will take a well-written story to make the case that Wanda survived.

And many cannot imagine the path the Scarlet Witch must take to atone for the sins she committed in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"It's gonna be reeeeal hard to find redemption from what she did in MoM... unless we all just ignore it which I kind of want to do. I wish Raimi hadn't made her a straight up murderer with the justification of "I'm a mother" to imaginary children," Reddit user robodrew said.

Some feel the Scarlet Witch arc in Doctor Strange 2 completely ruined her image, and it's best to leave her alone.

"Yeah they took one of the most sympathetic heroes and had her run around the multiverse murdering innocents. Not sure how you redeem a character like that. Probably better for the MCU to move on," Reddit user DLun203 commented.

Although there are a lot of unhappy fans, for others Scarlet Witch is the favorite character of MCU and they are ready to see her in any project.

Considering that Agatha will be the main character of the show, it is likely that Wanda will not have much screen time.

But fans won't know for sure until late 2023 or early 2024 when show is released.
