Michael Keaton Revealed His Favorite Recent Project (And It Isn't The Flash)
The actor can't seem to stop praising his other movie, which he says was a lot of fun.
Michael Keaton is a Hollywood veteran who began his career in the 1980s and hasn't stopped since, appearing in countless memorable roles on both television and the big screen.
He will soon be seen in the upcoming film The Flash, where he will reprise the role of Batman from the Tim Burton films, which he last played over thirty years ago in 1992's Batman Returns.
However, in a recent interview, the actor shared his excitement about another recent movie that he had a lot of fun working on.
Beetlejuice 2 is another blast from the past for Keaton, as it will be a direct sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice, in which he portrayed the titular "bio-exorcist."
Speaking to Empire, the actor couldn't hide his overwhelming enthusiasm for the film, describing it as "the most f****n' fun you can have working," and praising how great it is.
He also assured that they are doing the sequel exactly the same way they did the first one, much to the appreciation of the fans.
Perhaps much of Keaton's positive impressions of the production process comes from the fact that he is reunited with most of the original cast, including director Tim Burton and co-stars Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara.
The movie has been in development for a really long time, and now that it is finally happening, it looks like nothing is going to sabotage its release.
The fans seem to be as excited as the actor, eager to see the long-awaited return of the iconic ghost, as it looks extremely promising so far.
They say that Keaton and Burton's collaborations never disappoint and that they are glad to see the actor getting the roles he clearly enjoys.
The plot of the movie is still unknown, but it already has a release date, scheduled for September 6, 2024.
