Krista Allen Is Confirmed To Stay On The Bold and the Beautiful, But Fans Aren't Convinced
Only time will tell.
As a fan of the soap opera genre, you have to adapt to all the changes that take place. While some would argue that the fact that characters are constantly being written off and back on, recast, and moved from one show to another is what keeps soap fresh, others just find it extremely annoying and hard to deal with.
Either way, as long as it helps keep the show alive and somewhat good, fans are willing to take whatever changes are necessary.
Sometimes, however, the vibes just get too confusing, and that's exactly what's happening with Krista Allen's Dr. Taylor Hayes in The Bold and the Beautiful's ongoing storyline. When it was mentioned that she was having fun in Rome, many viewers thought that was the end for Allen and possibly her character on the show, but it's not that simple.
As confirmed by Soap Hub, Krista Allen will be back, and sooner rather than later. The actress is scheduled to appear in several episodes later in September and also in October, which may indicate that Dr. Hayes is not planning to go anywhere.
Although the news is exciting, long-time viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful are not completely convinced about the matter.
Allen’s performance in the role of Taylor Hayes, which she succeeded from
Hunter Tylo received mixed reviews from the fandom, so many viewers believe the actress’ role was reduced. In fact, that little trip to Rome that was previously mentioned ever so slightly could’ve been a way for the character to end up slowly written off overseas.
“I'm sorry, but we've seen this before. She will not make it into the New Year. They love slowly phasing people out without writing them out with an on screen story. By January or February we'll get a throwaway line like "Taylor is thriving at her practice in Rome." After months of her not being on screen,” Redditor Torraine said.
Whether that is the case or not, only time will tell. The re-appearance of Krista Allen as Dr. Hayes is set to happen on September 27, so make sure to save the date in your calendar and tune in to CBS to not miss any important plot points.
