As Justified: City Primeval has finally been released, the original series fans are happy to dive back into Raylan's adventures… But this one character low-key ruins the experience for many of them.

It's been so long since the original Justified ended that the return of Raylan Givens now seems like nothing short of a miracle. City Primeval allows us to follow the Marshal's adventures one last (hopefully not) time, and this fact on its own is worth everything — but many fans are not happy with one character that's too dumb.

Raylan's daughter, Willa, is a teenager now, and she's doing that typical drama teenager stuff that no one's ever wanted to see when getting back into their favorite show. It's only been two episodes by far, and Willa's managed to get onto the fans' wrong side.

Here's what many of them are saying about her behavior in the show.

"I was so disappointed when they made her a teen. Canonically she should be 10/11 but they can't have that kind of stupid, stupid conflict with a younger kid. Gotta be a teen for the angst BS the show has never needed. <...> Let's pad some scenes with everyone's least favorite trope: teen angst," wrote Reddit user GreenEyedCat.

Many people tend to agree with them: they argue that the use of teen drama was absolutely unnecessary and was only used to add some conflict where it wasn't due. In fact, the amount of hate Willa gets as a character on Justified's subreddit is insane — but some people stand up for the writers and claim that others are overreacting.

"She's a bored teenager stuck in a hotel while her absentee workaholic father is away doing his own thing. Wandering alone in an unfamiliar city and exploring an old warehouse are things that I've done many times in my life. As for getting duped by a criminal, that could happen to anybody," argues DeadMoneyDrew.

Overall, the discussion about Willa is ongoing, but it might just come to an end tomorrow. On IMDb, the character's listed for only three episodes of the show, and she's already been in two. Perhaps, tomorrow, Raylan will finally ensure his daughter's safety by sending her to her Mom, and everyone will be able to relax.
