Jessica Knight Isn’t Leaving NCIS in Season 22, and I Have a Proof of That

NCIS ’ season 22 is set to arrive this fall, with its fans still dwelling on how things will turn out for the show’s most mysterious figure so far. But it seems like one major detail was supposed to end all the speculations months ago.

The series’ next installment keeps its potential viewers in awe regarding Jessica Knight’s future and the choice she will ultimately make, yet I don’t think there’s a solid reason to be worried that much, at least before the very first episodes’ arrival.

Surprisingly, the hint was probably thrown at fans back in May, but only few noticed.

NCIS’ season 21 finale was quick to convince everyone that Jessica Knight wouldn’t be staying in there for too long, but one of CBS’ recent events suggested otherwise.

Ahead of the upcoming new TV season that starts this fall, the network launched its traditional New Fall Schedule event with most of the shows’ lead casts in attendance — and Jessica Knight’s actress Katrina Law was there too.

Considering that the event aimed at promoting the current series’ future installments that will be dropped on CBS this fall, Law would have had no need in attending if she had indeed quit NCIS after season 21.

Additionally, it didn’t even look like the network’s celebration had obliged everyone from the lead cast to be there — I personally don’t remember Wilmer Valderrama popping up, though his Nick Torres had spent much more time as the show’s regular than Jessica Knight.

With a slight risk of being proclaimed a bit delusional, I might suggest that Katrina Law did attend the event just because she will still be there when season 22 arrives. The other side of the coin is that we still can’t say if Jessica Knight will stay longer than just for the premiere episode.
