Jerry Seinfeld Teases a Long Awaited Revival: ‘Just What You Are Thinking About’
It’s time to give your wildest theories a shot.
If there is one thing you can expect in a few years, it is that every other show you loved will eventually be rebooted, revived, or remade by a powerful studio. From the older shows to the newer ones, there's nothing stopping producers from grabbing the idea of something popular and coming back with it, hoping to captivate viewers once again.
The only thing left for us as viewers is to hope that any kind of revival we get does justice to the original source and doesn't spoil anything that's been built up in the past.
The same goes for Seinfeld, as the show is being teased by its co-creator Jerry Seinfeld to return very soon. While there hasn't been a huge demand for a return to TV or streaming as far as most fans can remember, the ideas Seinfeld himself has shared sound intriguing and promising.
Seinfeld mentioned the possibility of a reunion during one of his stand-up shows. Fortunately for fans, the statement was not part of the bit. Instead, the comedian acknowledged the controversy surrounding the original show's finale and joked that he knows something the audience doesn't yet.
“Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet. And just what you are thinking about, Larry and I have also been thinking about, so you’ll see… you’ll see,” he teased the crowd in Boston.
Of course, the stage show was not the time or place to reveal more details about what might be happening with the TV series, but fans are now on alert and constantly looking for more news. For now, everyone besides those involved in the production is in the dark about either the studio, the format, or the length of an upcoming “little something.”
However, if there is a chance to get a little more closure and an explanation for the jail time the characters got at the end, Seinfeld viewers would gladly take it any day and in any possible form.
