Is Wanda Maximoff a Villain in 'Multiverse of Madness'? Not so Fast, Elizabeth Olsen Says
And there is an entire army of Scarlet Witch fans by her side to support her.
With 'Multiverse of Madness' hitting the screens on May 6, many fans have already speculated that Elizabeth Olsen 's Wanda Maximoff has become a villain in the movie. But the actress herself was quick to weigh in to defend her heroine.
"Well, you know, I don't think of any character I play as a villain, or a bad guy, or a good guy," Olsen said during her Wednesday appearance on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon. "I just played an axe murderer and I love her and I think she's fabulous. Coming to you in fall," she then laughed.
She is not alone in actually choosing to stand up for Wanda no matter what she chooses to do. And when we say no matter what, we actually mean that Scarlet Witch could be up to some absolutely chilling and horrifying things – but her fans will rise up to protect her.
Seriously.
So yeah, it seems like Wanda can go for any questionable moral choice and still end up being defended not only by her fans, but also by Olsen who has repeatedly described herself as her character's "attorney".
