In season 3, the Supe finally revealed his true nature to the audience. And if shaky popularity could stop him before, nothing can slow him down after the villain's first kill in public.

Homelander, the iconic character from the hit series The Boys, has captivated audiences with his immense power and questionable moral compass.

As the leader of The Seven, a group of super-powered individuals, the hero possesses incredible abilities. But can he really destroy the world?

The answer is both yes and no. On the one hand, Homelander certainly has the power to cause massive destruction. He could easily level cities, overthrow governments, and destroy entire armies.

His heat vision alone could incinerate whole countries, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake.

On the other hand, the Supe is no mindless killing machine. Despite his god-like abilities, he is still a sentient being with emotions, desires, and a sense of ethics. He may be ruthless and selfish, but he is not a nihilistic destroyer.

But the most important aspect to consider is Homelander's character. Throughout the series, we witness a complex individual grappling with his own personal demons and struggles for power.

While he may have the means to wreak havoc on a global scale, it is unlikely that he would single-handedly bring about the destruction of the world.

So while the Supe could certainly cause a great deal of destruction if he chose to do so, he is not capable of destroying the entire world on his own.

It would take a concerted effort by many superhumans, working together or against each other, to bring about the end of civilization as we know it.

However, fans noticed that in season 3 of the show, it was mentioned that the Supe does not need to take down every single building, but rather the infrastructure, government, military, and medical facilities.

This will not only lead to anarchy that could result in millions of deaths. He could also use nuclear weapons, viruses, or explosives.

While the possibility of Homelander destroying the world cannot be completely ruled out, it seems highly unlikely given the complexity of his character and the checks and balances within the series.

The narrative of The Boys explores themes of power, corruption, and the consequences of unchecked authority, making it unlikely that the story would take such a drastic turn.
