You'll have to wait and see if that's what season 2 will bring us.

After the controversial season 8 of Game of Thrones and its ending, which sent half of the fans into a spiral of negativity, many were hesitant to give House Of The Dragon a chance.

After all, no one likes to be wronged twice in a row, especially when the focus is on one of the most powerful and beloved houses of all, the Targaryens.

But the good news is that, unlike Game of Thrones, all of the books that House Of The Dragon covers have already been written and published.

So if you were worried about inconsistencies in the finale, worry not. George R.R. Martin has the story covered, and he's also involved in the show's production.

Quiz: Are You More Game Of Thrones Or Outlander?

While the first season of the series was an introduction to the story, explaining how the House of Targaryen split in two and what led to the war, it's safe to assume that the second season will focus mostly on the battle between the Black and the Green itself.

Although there are many characters that fans have become attached to over the course of the first 10 episodes, the main ones are the subject of much concern for most.

Rhaenyra, Daemon, Alicent, and Aegon II are all characters that the story will focus on in the next season, putting them all in great danger at the same time.

Rhaenyra Targaryen, portrayed by Emma D'Arcy, was the prominent protagonist of season 1, however, D'arcy themselves refer to her plot for season 2 as the "good old antihero storyline".

Since morality has always been a little out of the question during the war, it's scary to think about what could be in store for the princess in the upcoming season.

Although they are familiar with the books and the ending Martin had in mind for her character, Emma D'Arcy doesn't seem to be too worried.

They're just grateful to be a part of such a beautiful and intense story and to be able to follow it "all the way to the end.

Whether you want to take these words as a hint is up to you. One thing is for sure: season 2 promises to be even crazier than the first one.

House of the Dragon season 2 production has already begun, so there is a chance that the series will return sometime in 2024. Stay tuned for more updates!
