Hayden Christensen reflects on the decision to return to the role of Darth Vader, revealing that it was very easy for him to jump back into the beloved franchise. Among the things he enjoyed the most was the love he received from fans who now appeared to have "finally embraced" him.

"It's been so heartwarming for Star Wars fans to finally embrace me… I guess the moral of the story is patience," Christensen said when speaking to William Mullally.

Fans have spent many years grilling Christensen's performance in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Now, however, many fans and critics argue that the certain amount of cringe-worthiness that Christensen's ill-fated Jedi had on screen was bad dialogue's fault, and not the actor's.

It would be fair to note that some people decided to redirect their discontent to the newest Disney sequels (and 'Obi-Wan Kenobi ' is among them), criticizing the studio for its treatment of the franchise.

But now that fans agreed that the flaws of the prequel movies were more due to questionable writing and directing, Christensen is welcomed back by those who are still eager to see 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' and other 'Star Wars' sequels. So who knows, maybe his Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is on track to experience a Renaissance similar to that of Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker after 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'.
