By the third season his character grows, realizing his previous mistakes and disregard for the team, becoming a pivotal fans’ favorite.

John Murphy from The 100

The post-apocalyptic sci-fi show had obviously unpleasant characters among its 100 delinquent survivors, sent back to Earth, with the troublesome John Murphy standing out of them.

In the end of the series he was given a great redemption arc, and fans agreed that he “redeemed himself.

Steve Harrington from Stranger Things

Netflix ’s nostalgic sci-fi action banger, apart from the Upside Down’s evil creatures, was originally making a villain out of Steve, an egoistic popular high school student, who underwent through numerous tests of will since the first season and grew very much, becoming a brave and careful older friend for the main heroes and fans’ favorite.

The series’ law enforcement team included Roland "Prez" Pryzbylewski, a hectic ignoramus in investigating the crimes, who got there being a nepo-baby. However, he remarkably progresses as a character, warming up fans’ hearts.
