Divisive $407M Tom Holland Movie Just Received a Promising Update from Co-Star

The movie’s Critic Score, however, tells a completely different story, with the rather embarrassing 40% general score only made worse by the top critics’ 23% rating.

Critics and viewers’ clashed aside, the first movie was a commercial success, raking up over $407M at the global box office against a production budget of $120M. The decision to make a sequel doesn’t come as a surprise, but there hadn’t been any news about it until now as Mark Wahlberg just gave a promising Uncharted 2 update.

“I just got a call today that they got the script in. I can’t grow a real beard and mustache, but they said, ‘Start growing your mustache. It's gonna take a while.’ I’d be interested to see what the story’s like, and where that adventure takes us. But I’m excited; I know audiences really loved the first one,” the actor told Screen Rant.

With the script complete, it’s only a matter of time until the movie gets an official green light and moves to production, so buckle up for another Drake and Sully adventure if you’re a fan — or begin sharpening your pen if you’re a critic.
