Britney Spears is Pregnant, But Fans Have Mixed Feelings About It
The 40-year-old pop icon already has two children from her past marriage to Kevin Federline: Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.
Britney Spears announced some big news on Instagram: she's expecting a baby with her fiancé Sam Ashgari.
It turns out that Britney initially thought she just gained back her weight, but the singer said she got a pregnancy test and it confirmed the news.
"It's growing !!! If 2 are in there… I might just lose it," Britney wrote.
Sam Ashgari also took to Instagram to mark the occasion, saying that fatherhood is something he "always looked forward to" and it will be "the most important job" he will ever do.
Looks like everything is coming up roses, but fans, while happy for the couple, expressed their concerns online.
And of course… the "oops she did it again" jokes.
Still, despite the concerned fans and never-before-heard jokes, Britney and her fiance look happy about what's coming. The pop singer is basically entering the very first year of her actual life after breaking free from the conservatorship of her father, which she called abusive and even linked to sex trafficking.
