Bridgerton Fans May Need To Wait Until 2024 For Season 3 Release
Fans of Benedict and Sophie start to worry.
Although May 4 is a great day for Bridgerton fans, as the series' prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story premieres on Netflix, some grim news about the original show may overshadow it.
As anyone who follows the production closely knows, season 3 of Bridgerton is almost finished: filming is over, editing is in full swing, and the only thing that could make fans more excited would be a release date.
However, as the new rumor has it, the season 3 release news may not be as exciting as many had hoped.
Between Queen Charlotte's premiere and the Writers' Strike that could delay any production in the industry for months, chances are that season 3 of Bridgerton might not be released until 2024.
Needless to say, fans are devastated by such a possibility. Not only have they been waiting for almost a year to get another season, but this one is also dedicated to one of the fan-favorite couples.
Of course, the quality of the show is always worth the wait, but it wouldn't be a lie to say that the irritation was there from the very first Queen Charlotte announcements.
Did the producers really need to release a spin-off knowing that it could affect the schedule of the original? How much longer will it take for other fans to get their favorite stories covered?
While there is no doubt that the show will be a success when it is released, regardless of the date, fans can't help but wonder how much longer it will be before they get to meet another couple.
Internet theorists already think they know who will be the focus of season 4, but the cast isn't getting any younger, and with each passing year, Bridgerton risks becoming a dull parody of itself.
We will have to wait for the official announcement to find out the release date of Bridgerton season 3. For now, you can enjoy Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story prequel on Netflix.
