However, even something already great can improve from an awesome casting choice. Looks like MCU did just that by sealing the deal with comedy genius Sacha Baron Cohen to star in the new special.
Of course, since the information about Mephisto's special release is not official, fans should be more cautious about this news.
However, the source has already proven to be trustworthy and now states that the special is not only confirmed but already in the middle of a filming process.
An industry insider Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast revealed that the special is shooting on the set of the upcoming Disney Plus series Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
This news was met with excitement by the fanbase, who seem to love both a chance to see this character come to life on screen and the choice of actor to portray him.
Although Mephisto is extremely cruel and powerful in comics, making a lot of trouble for such heroes as Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Thor, it seems like fans are ready to explore his chaotic energy in a more humorous way.
In all seriousness though, everyone expects something different from this special, given the nature of the character and the actor choice.
"What I'd really like to see is for Mephisto (whether in this special or in other appearances) to take a wide range of different human disguises in dealing with characters, which would all be played by Sacha Baron Cohen wearing different costumes and makeup.

With a wide range of Cohen's acting performances, from the role of Borat to the much more serious The Spy Netflix mini-series, there's no doubt that he'll pull off the Mephisto character.
