After a sweeping wave of media articles saying that Misha Collins came out as bisexual during the NJ 'Supernatural ' fan convention, the Castiel actor had to take to Twitter to explain that this was all an awkward wording, and not actually a coming-out thing.
Here's the deal: during his weekend panel at the convention, Collins was speaking to the audience, wondering how many introverts, extroverts, and bisexuals (for some reason) there were. Then, he quickly added he was "all three" – a remark that was mistaken for coming out as bisexual.
"My clumsy intention was to wave off actually discussing my sexuality, but I badly fumbled that and understand that was seen as me coming out as bisexual," Collins wrote in a Twitter thread, apologizing for the mishap. "This was not my intention so I need to correct the record: I am not bisexual. I happen to be straight, but I am also a fierce ally and the last thing I want to do is falsely co-opt the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community. "
His fans, who have already spent the past two days praising their new 'bi icon', were predictably disappointed, but they still accepted the apology – even though they could not help but joke about Collins having to come out twice.

Some recalled the 'Supernatural' finale, in which, many fans believed, Collins' character Castiel was "sent to super hell for being gay".
Anyway, the past 72 hours were fun, now everybody has to somehow return to the reality of Misha Collins not being bisexual.
