Ben Stiller Teases Possible On-Screen Appearance in 'Severance'
Apple TV+ show 'Severance' became a cultural phenomenon within weeks of its premiere, and with the incredible final cliffhanger, fans are dying to know what happens in season two.
Series' co-director and producer Ben Stiller, famous for his comedic turns in 'Zoolander', 'Meet the Parents' and 'Tropic Thunder', might join the next season in a new role – as an actor. It's been five years since we saw Stiller in a major role in front of the camera – he traded his comedic chops for behind-the-screen work, directing and producing award-winning series 'Escape at Dannemora' and, now, 'Severance '.
Stiller proved to be a reliable director, so his possible appearance in show's second season would be an eagerly anticipated comeback. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Stiller said that he is "looking forward to getting back into acting", adding that "anything is possible" in regards of him stepping in front of a camera for hit show's second season.
Series' fans have a long wait in front of them – the earliest possible release date for the next 'Severance' chapter is early 2023, so they have a plenty of time to guess what direction the series will take.
